A distribution centre is a rhythm — inbound by day, picking by night, outbound by dawn — and it breaks when the night shift is short. Filipino warehouse operatives from Gulf and Asian DCs know the rhythm, the scanner and the WMS; the country decides whether they can come.
Gulf and Singapore distribution centres run the same WMS platforms, scanners and pick methods as Central European ones, with English as the floor language and pick rates on the board. Filipino operatives arrive knowing what a cycle count is and why a mis-pick is a problem; team leaders arrive having run a night shift in a mixed-nationality DC. What they need is a site induction and housing that matches the contract.
A pick-and-pack exercise against a WMS-style list with accuracy and rate scored; a receiving and put-away routine with a scanner; a forklift or reach-truck practical for MHE roles; numeracy and safety checks; an English interview. Team leaders are tested on shift planning, handover and escalation.
Which logistics roles can come depends on the country. Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania and Croatia sponsor warehouse operatives, pickers and forklift drivers on national permits (Croatia exempts warehouse and driver roles from its labour-market test in several counties). Flanders excluded warehouse workers from economic migration on 1 January 2026; the Netherlands' UWV test blocks them; Germany has no unskilled route — qualified logistics roles (dispatchers, team leaders, mechanics) and professional drivers have their own routes. Australia sponsors logistics roles only under a regional DAMA. The Gulf sponsors the full mix at MoHRE skill levels. Professional drivers follow the driver route of each country — licence conversion and Code 95 planned on arrival.
Warehouse operatives leave for the park next door if housing, pay or shift premiums fall short — and in a logistics park the next door is thirty metres away. Housing that matches the contract, premiums paid as written, a supervisor who speaks English and a first week run as a team keep a shift intact; our aftercare runs to month six.
Need professional drivers? Drivers are a profession with its own page and country guides — Germany, Croatia, the UAE — and we do not duplicate them here: see /truck-drivers/. In September 2026 a single five-day round recruited 117 truck drivers for one Lithuanian transport company; the licence conversion and Code 95 phase was planned into the timeline, as it must be in every EU country.
Recruitment runs through our own DMW-licensed agency, Prime Search Manpower Agency Inc. in Makati (licence DMW-027-LB-11182024): your company is accredited at the Migrant Workers Office for the destination, the job order is registered with the DMW, and every worker leaves Manila with a verified contract, medical clearance, pre-departure orientation and an Overseas Employment Certificate. The Philippine ban on direct hiring applies; the employer is always your company, directly.
Everything here is subject to the permit, qualification and licensing requirements of the destination country.
Yes — cold-environment tolerance and hygiene certification screened; cold premiums stated in the contract.
Operators for goods-to-person and sortation systems are briefed like production operators; maintenance technicians for the automation come from the manufacturing maintenance pool.
Qualified roles — dispatchers, team leaders, mechanics — and drivers; not operatives.
General information for employers, not legal or migration advice. Rules change; we re-verify before each hire.
