Frequently asked questions

  • How do I apply for a job in Europe through Filipino Workers?

Apply directly to our DMW-licensed agency in Manila, Prime Search Manpower Agency Inc., through its official how-to-apply page. Prime Search screens applicants, runs trade tests at its facilities in Makati and presents shortlisted candidates to European and Gulf employers. Filipino Workers is the employer-facing side of the same group; it does not accept job applications by itself.

  • Which countries and jobs are available?

Employers we work with hire in 37 countries across the EU, the UK, Norway, the Gulf, Australia and New Zealand. Demand is strongest in welding, CNC and machine operation, fabrication, sheet metal, electrical and maintenance work, construction trades, truck driving, warehousing and logistics, hospitality, care and nursing. Openings change every month; the current interview rounds are listed on the manifest page.

  • Who will be my employer?

The company that hires you — directly. You sign an employment contract with that company in Manila, and the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) with jurisdiction for the country verifies it before you leave. You are employed by that company directly, not by an agency.

  • What documents do I need?

A valid passport, proof of your work experience (certificates of employment), your TESDA National Certificate or equivalent for your trade where you have one, and an updated CV. For some trades a practical trade test at Prime Search replaces missing paperwork. Medical examination, PDOS and the Overseas Employment Certificate come after you are selected.

  • How long does it take?

From selection to departure, typically three to five months for most EU countries, four to eight weeks for the Gulf, and four to eight months for Australia and New Zealand, depending on the country's permit process and any skills assessment or licensing. Prime Search keeps you informed at each stage.

  • Can I apply if I was not selected in a previous round?

Yes. Employers interview new candidates every month; keep your profile with Prime Search updated and improve your trade skills. Being not selected for one employer does not affect your chances with the next.
