Overseas recruitment from the Philippines for Australian employers

Overseas recruitment fails when it is a trip: a week in Manila, a batch of candidates, a long silence. We run it as a programme — a permanent team in Makati, trade tests you watch live from Australia, both compliance systems in parallel, arrivals in waves matched to your plan.

A programme, not a mission

The traditional model of overseas recruitment is a recruitment mission: the agency schedules a trip, bundles employers, gathers candidates for that week. If your vacancy opens between missions, you wait. We built the opposite. Our own DMW-licensed agency operates continuously in Makati; sourcing, trade testing and interviews happen every day, and an Australian employer joins from Perth or Brisbane by video at nine in the morning Manila time.

How it runs

  • Feasibility — occupation codes against the Core Skills Occupation List, skills-assessment obligations for Philippine passports, salary against the threshold, sponsorship status, regional agreements where relevant.
  • Recruitment round — sourcing from Prime Search's own base, practical trade tests to your standards, your interviews live or on site, selection.
  • Two compliance chains in parallel — your sponsorship, nomination, TRA assessment and visa on the Australian side; MWO Canberra verification, DMW job order, contract verification, medical, PDOS and Overseas Employment Certificate on the Philippine side.
  • Mobilisation — arrivals matched to site start dates; onboarding support; second and third waves reuse the verified file.

What changes for you

Speed: sourcing starts when your brief arrives, not when the next trip is scheduled. Quality: you see the trade test, not a CV. Predictability: both governments have verified the employer, the contract and the worker before departure. And accountability: one partner runs both ends of the route while you remain the employer. Everything here is subject to applicable Australian skills assessment, licensing, occupation and visa requirements.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do we have to travel to Manila?

No. Most Australian clients join trade tests and interviews live by video; some visit for larger cohorts; some delegate entirely and decide from recordings.

  • How fast can we see candidates?

A trade-tested shortlist typically within two to four weeks of the brief; the Australian process then determines arrival.

  • How is this different from a labour-hire firm?

We never employ the workers. Your company sponsors and employs them directly; we recruit, test, document and mobilise.
