A Polish visa D buys up to a year; the single permit buys up to three and removes the Manila step from renewals. Since 27 April 2026 it is filed only through the MOS system, and the employer's electronic signature on Załącznik nr 1 is a condition of the file. This page sets out the conditions, the fees and the sequence so that a worker's status never lapses between the visa and the card.
The temporary residence and work permit combines residence and work in one decision issued by the voivode for up to three years, tied to the employment described in Załącznik nr 1. A Filipino who entered on a visa D with a work permit type A files it before the visa expires — at the latest on the last day of legal stay — and, once the application passes formal verification, prints a certificate from MOS that replaces the former passport stamp and keeps the stay and the work lawful until the decision. Since 27 April 2026 the application is filed exclusively electronically through the Office for Foreigners' MOS system; the applicant needs a PESEL number and a Profil Zaufany, documents that need the employer's signature are signed electronically and uploaded, other attachments may be scanned, and corrections to an electronic application are made on paper.
Since 1 June 2025 a Polish employer hires a Filipino on a work permit type A applied for electronically through praca.gov.pl at the voivodeship office for the place of work: no labour-market test, no starosta opinion, pay at least the statutory minimum and not lower than comparable employees, a written contract before work begins in a language the worker understands, a validity of up to three years, a fee of PLN 400 for work longer than three months (PLN 200 for up to three months) since 1 December 2025 (Regulation of 20 November 2025, Dz.U. 2025 poz. 1622). The statutory decision time is one month (two in complex cases); the national average in practice has lengthened to about 81 days in April 2026, and it varies by voivodeship. With the permit the worker applies for a national visa D through the Embassy's visa application centres in the Philippines — where appointment capacity, not the permit, is the real bottleneck of the Polish route — and, once in Poland, may switch to a temporary residence and work permit filed only through the MOS system since 27 April 2026. The declaration route (oświadczenie) that makes Poland fast for Ukrainians is not available to Philippine nationals.
The employer completes and signs Załącznik nr 1 — the employment conditions: position, pay, working time, contract type and duration — with a qualified electronic signature or a trusted profile, and provides certificates of no arrears from ZUS and the tax office. Pay must be at least the statutory minimum (PLN 4,806 a month in 2026) and not lower than that of comparable employees; the worker must have health insurance; the occupation must not be on a starosta restriction list (none exists at the time of review); regulated professions need the relevant qualification. The stamp duty is PLN 440 and the card PLN 100. We prepare the annex for signature, collect the certificates and file the complete application, because an incomplete MOS file is the commonest reason a worker's status becomes uncertain.
A worker on the single permit renews in Poland without returning to the visa queue in the Philippines, can hold the card for up to three years, and is a stable member of the team rather than a visa calendar. For employers hiring in numbers, moving each cohort onto single permits in the first year is the difference between a workforce and a series of visa runs; we schedule the filings by cohort, with the employer's annexes signed in batches.
Recruitment runs through our own DMW-licensed agency, Prime Search Manpower Agency Inc. in Makati (licence DMW-027-LB-11182024): your company is accredited at the Migrant Workers Office in Prague, which has handled labour matters for Poland since December 2021, the job order is registered with the DMW, and every worker leaves Manila with a verified contract, medical clearance, pre-departure orientation and an Overseas Employment Certificate. Recruitment follows the employer-pays principle: no applicant pays for an interview, a trade test or a place on a shortlist. Your company is the employer from day one; we never employ or lease the workers.
Everything here is subject to the Act of 20 March 2025 on the conditions for entrusting work to foreigners, the Act on Foreigners, the voivode's practice in force, the Polish Embassy in Manila's appointment rules, Polish labour law and Philippine DMW rules.
No — since 27 April 2026 temporary residence applications are filed only through MOS, with narrow exceptions that do not cover ordinary employment. Corrections to a filed e-application are made on paper.
Załącznik nr 1 — the employment conditions — electronically in MOS; without it the application cannot be completed. The employer also provides ZUS and tax no-arrears certificates.
Stamp duty PLN 440, non-refundable, plus PLN 100 for the residence card.
Yes, if the application was filed by the last day of legal stay: the MOS certificate replaces the passport stamp and the stay and work remain lawful until the decision.
