Gastronomy service is a shortage group in Germany, and Filipino hospitality graduates have the service culture German hotels want. The constraint is language — guest-facing work needs B1 on arrival — and the routes are the hospitality Ausbildung for most candidates and the experience route for graduates.
Front office, restaurant service, banqueting, housekeeping supervision and hotel administration — the roles German hotels struggle to fill and Filipino hospitality graduates and cruise-line staff have done for years in English. For Germany they need German: B1 on arrival for anything guest-facing, which we build into the programme in Manila.
Most candidates come as apprentices — Hotelfachmann/-frau, Restaurantfachmann/-frau or the two-year Fachkraft für Gastronomie — under § 16a with B1 and a signed training contract. Graduates of four-year HRM or tourism degrees with two years' experience fit the experience route at tariff pay in tariff-bound hotels. There is no visa for unskilled service or housekeeping labour; housekeeping supervisors with diplomas fit the experience route.
Service role-play in English and, at selection, in basic German; upselling and complaint handling; a housekeeping inspection task for supervisors — at Prime Search's Makati facilities, watched live. German to B1 with partner schools. Everything here is subject to applicable German recognition, immigration, licensing and labour-law requirements.
